*Keep in mind that most aquatic plants are grown out of the water and will go through a transition period when growing in water. This might result in old leaves dying. This is perfectly normal as long as there is new growth. Plants that are grown in water are prone to pest snails. You should not have a problem with pest snails if you buy from us, but you might get some Assassin Snail eggs as we use them to control pest snails. They are much easier to control than any other snails and they won’t harm your fish/shrimp, but they might kill other snails. We opted for the Assassin Snail treatment instead of a chemical treatment that might be harmful to your livestock. To avoid any type of algea or snails, we recommend Tissue Culture Plants. They are grown in a Laboratory and are guaranteed to be snail, algae and pesticide-free.
