Description

Seachem – Tidal Foam  (Filter Replacement Sponge)

The Seachem – Tidal Foam is the replacement mechanical filtration media for the TIdal hang-on filters. The foam is an integral part of the entire filter system by trapping waste and debris as the first stage of filtration. As with all mechanical filtration media, the The Foam Filter Sponge (35, 55, 75, & 110) acts as mechanical filtration, trapping detritus and other large particulates as the first stage of filtration. This allows further stages of chemical and biological filtration to work more effectively. As with all mechanical filtration media, the tidal foam should be cleaned regularly by thoroughly rinsing under clean water. When the filter foam no longer rinses clean or has visible signs of wear, it should be replaced.

Rinse thoroughly before use.
